Description

Both patients and their relatives often find themselves in psychological and/or physical crises and moments of great tension. Nursing and healthcare professionals are therefore faced with multiple challenges, as they must not only respond appropriately but also manage their professional daily routine and personal challenges.

This requires targeted expertise to be able to assess situations promptly and objectively and to react correctly.

Aim:

Together, exemplary case studies and practical examples will be worked through based on theoretical models. In this way, experiences gained can be integrated into professional knowledge. The understanding acquired expands your own range of actions and provides confidence in dealing with anger, insults, and threatening situations. This enables escalations to be recognised and interrupted in good time. Furthermore, reflecting on your own conflict and communication patterns allows you to address personal blind spots and reduces the risk of psychological strain.

Methods:

  • Theoretical foundations and models
  • Practical inputs and tips
  • Case studies, scenarios, and exercises
  • Video and image examples
  • Training and role-playing to transfer into everyday practice
  • Reflection and feedback
  • Mutual exchange and discussion
