Description

Skin health plays a key role in the overall health of a person. In this context, the skin’s immune system is particularly important. Skincare using plant-based oils, fats, and essential oils not only nurtures and protects the skin but literally works "beneath" the surface. This workshop provides insights into practical production methods and, through "learning by doing," fosters a deeper understanding. In addition to creating products for direct comparison and personal testing, you will also mix a variety of items such as soap, lip balm, body soufflé, and more (in small, take-home sizes) under expert guidance.

Course content

Definition and significance of "natural" skincare
Skin as a microcosm and immune organ
Legal foundations for producing care products in institutions
Meaning of different seals on care products
INCI list
Effects of additives (preservatives, consistency enhancers, emulsifiers)
Mixing and mixing ratios
Production of ointment, cream, lotion, balm, etc. (to take home)
Tips, tricks & techniques

Target group
