In a time when data protection in healthcare is indispensable, the eLearning course "Nursing, Care, Treatment, and Therapy in the Context of Data Protection" offers in-depth support. The course helps professionals protect sensitive patient data and master legal requirements. Topics include the objectives and updates of the GDPR, its scope of application, data subjects' rights, and the obligations of data processing entities. Further topics cover data transfers to non-EU countries, monitoring GDPR compliance, and consequences of violations. Key focuses are the processing of sensitive data, the role of the data protection officer, data protection impact assessments (DPIA), as well as the right to information and the right to erasure.
