Accounting 1 - Basics in Blended Learning Format

In this course, participants will learn the basics of double-entry bookkeeping and how to record simple business transactions through theoretical inputs and practical exercises. The course begins with a joint introductory workshop in which the trainer explains the online learning platform in detail and provides an overview of the planned learning content. This is followed by eLearning Phase 1, during which participants work through the specified content independently. In parallel, the trainer regularly answers questions via online support. The second in-person session starts with an entry test, the results of which show each participant which areas of knowledge are already well understood and where further practice is needed. During the second in-person session, the instructor reviews the content of eLearning Phase 1 with examples and addresses any questions. This is followed by eLearning Phase 2, after which a third in-person session takes place (structured like the second session). After a further third eLearning phase, a fourth in-person session follows. The course concludes with a fifth in-person session in the form of a final workshop, during which a written exam covering all learning content can be taken.
